Can my guinea pig eat grapes?

Ah grapes, juice, wine, raisins, vinegar, the list goes on! But can a guinea pig eat grapes? Certainly! However like all things moderation is key. Guinea pigs require a constant source of vitamin C which grapes can help provide. However, guinea pigs have a very delicate digestive system that makes them not digest fruit sugars too well.

The verdict. Limit your guinea pig to 1/2 grapes every few days. Variety is the spice of life, give your piggie some variety!
